Who organises the St George's Festival in March?
The St George's Festival, formerly St George's Fayre, is one of the Fenland Four Seasons' events.
The festival is delivered by Fenland District Council with a committee of community partners, volunteers and March Events Committee.
Involved partners include March Library, March town councillors, March Community Centre, Market Place Creative People and Places, March Museum, March Society, Churches Together, The Rotary Club and many more.
Fenland District Council provides some seed money to each of the Fenland Four Seasons events, an officer to support in the coordination and planning of them, support with bookings and administration and to ensure staffing for many aspects of the on-the-day running.
Partners, volunteers and sponsors are invaluable in making the event happen.
We would like to thank everyone involved in the festival and fayre now and in past years - your support is invaluable.
