May 2025 election results

Elections were held on May 1 for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Mayor and Cambridgeshire County Council.

Ballot box

Fenland District Council ran the elections in Fenland.

Across the district there were 76,445 eligible voters.

Of those, 13,890 people returned postal votes.

Votes were also cast in person at 54 polling stations.

The total turnout for the mayoral election in Fenland was 30.08%, with 22,996 votes cast.

In the county council elections, 23,146 votes were cast in Fenland, representing a turnout of 30.28%.

Mayoral election result

In Fenland, the candidate with the most votes in the mayoral election was Ryan Coogan (reform UK), with 9,246 votes.

Elected as mayor for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough was Paul Bristow (Conservative).

County Council election results

Elected county councillors for Fenland were:

  • Chatteris: Divine, Daniel (Reform UK)
  • March North & Waldersey:
    • Fisher, Stefan Christopher  (Reform UK), and
    • Galbraith, Colin Hugh (Reform UK)
  • March South & Rural: Thornhill, Christopher Mark (Reform UK)
  • Roman Bank And Peckover: Osborn, Andy (Reform UK):
  • Whittlesey North: Boden, Chris (Conservative)
  • Whittlesey South: Fisher, Michael Edward (Reform UK)
  • Wisbech East: Hoy, Samantha (Conservative)
  • Wisbech West: Tierney, Steve (Conservative)
