Supplementary Planning Documents, Informal Guidance and the Fenland Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP)

The Resource Use and Renewable Energy SPD was adopted by Full Council on 24 July 2014

The Resource Use and Renewable Energy SPD has been prepared to support Part A of Local Plan Policy LP14, 'Responding to Climate Change and Managing the Risk of Flooding in Fenland'.

The SPD provides additional guidance to the Council when assessing relevant planning applications. It also provides prospective applicants with the necessary information that they should consider when submitting a planning application.

Adoption of the SPD

We consulted on the January 2014 Consultation Draft version of the SPD between Tuesday 14 January and Monday 24 February 2014.

The SPD was revised in light of some of the comments made during the consultation.

It was then agreed at the 24 April 2014 Cabinet meeting that the revised SPD be subject to a further round of consultation in light of the changes made.

The consultation on the revised June 2014 draft of the Resource Use and Renewable Energy SPD ran from Tuesday 3 June to midnight on Monday 30 June 2014.

The SPD was revised following consideration of the comments made during this consultation. The revised SPD was presented to Cabinet on 24 July 2014 which recommended no further changes and adoption of the SPD at Full Council. The SPD was adopted by Full Council later that day.
