Community litter picks organised as part of a national clean-up campaign are among the events being held by Fenland's amazing Street Pride groups throughout March.

The junction of Dartford Road and Broad Street, March, will be closed from Monday, 4 March, to Sunday, 10 March, for essential safety works following the discovery of a void beneath the road surface.

Fenland District Council wants to make residents aware of a new consultation launched by National Grid on its plans for a new overhead power line and pylons that pass through the Fens, and substation on the district boundary.

Work will begin imminently on the removal of the existing toilet block in March town centre to allow further progress on the multi-million redevelopment of the riverside and Broad Street.

Emergency support is available to rough sleepers in Fenland during the current cold snap to ensure no-one has to sleep outside.
