Fenland District Council on behalf of the respective events committees invites expressions of interest for the provision of the following at the 2025 large public events:
- Savory Catering - consisting of a meat, dairy and meat free options
- Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate
- Outdoor Bar services
- Ice Cream
- Crepes/Donuts/Waffles
Our deadline for Expressions of Interest to cater at our 2025 events is 5pm on Friday 31st January 2025. If you miss this deadline we will still retain your contact information for future events.
The footfall at these events is typically 3-5,000. Further information about which can be found at www.fenland.gov.uk/events. Ideally, we are looking for a variety of cuisines not otherwise offered in the town at an affordable price point for visitors. For the December events we would favour specifically festive food.
All of your menus will be viewed by the organising community committees, who will opt for the food options they feel will be most suitable for each event. The chosen cuisines may change each year.
We will endeavour to offer as many caterers as possible at least one event, but please be aware this unfortunately may not be possible where there are multiple caterers of the same cuisine and/or if many caterers apply.
Fenland District Council commits to supporting our local farmers, growers and food and drink sector by, where possible, ensuring that food and drinks provided at council organised events are sourced from local suppliers.
This compliments and further enhances the council's existing, ongoing commitment to supporting local businesses when procuring goods and services and everyone involved in the organisation of events on behalf of the council will continue to seek opportunities to achieve best value whilst also supporting the local economy.
All suppliers to Fenland Four Seasons events are therefore encouraged to support the Council's environmental and economic aims by where possible using:
- • Locally sourced seasonal produce
- • Sustainable fuel sources
- • Ecological cooking and cleaning products
- • Recycled/reuseable/recyclable cutlery and food containers.
- • Disposing of cooking fats and oils responsibly
Companies with experience in the above or similar outdoor catering concessions with a food hygiene rating of 3 or above, should express their interest by completing the below form. Pitch fees are laid out on the second page of the below form.
