Manor Leisure Centre Redevelopment: Drop-in engagement events in Whittlesey
People can find out more and have their say on plans to redevelop the Manor Leisure Centre in Whittlesey at two engagement events being held on Thursday 30 October.
Fenland District Council is planning to redevelop the centre as part of its Fenland Inspire! investment campaign, aimed at enhancing leisure facilities and public spaces across the district.
An online survey was held in September to gather views on the redevelopment, and now two community engagement events are being held.
Drop in sessions - Thursday 30 October:
| Location | Time |
|---|---|
| Whittlesey Market Place | 9am to 12pm |
| Main Reception, Manor Leisure Centre | 1pm to 6.30pm |
Feedback from the survey and the events will directly inform the next stage of the redevelopment process.
Cllr Steve Count, the Council's Cabinet Member for Fenland Inspire! leisure centre projects, said: The Manor Leisure Centre plays a central role in the health and wellbeing of our community. This engagement is a vital step in ensuring that the redeveloped facility reflects the needs and aspirations of local residents. We encourage everyone to take part and share their views.
