Ship Sanitation and Inspections Order

I have checked the Ship Sanitation and Inspection Service that Fenland District Council offers.

I have read and understand the requirements for this service to be provided. I agree to ensure those requirements are met and provided.

I understand that the Port Health Officer attending will check the requirements have been met fully and if there is/are concern(s) then the inspection will not take place but I will still be charged and no refund given. In such circumstances an extension certificate will be offered and provided if it is applicable.

I agree that the Port Health Officers decision is final.

I understand that the service must be prepaid by debit or credit card and that no booking shall exist until such payments have been received by Fenland District Council and a confirmation of payment made is issued.

I understand that the service being provided requires specialist resources and in the unlikely event that, once booked, these become unavailable then the booking will be cancelled and a full refund will be given. No other or further liability shall exist. Any such cancellation will be made with at least 24 hours notice provided to the vessel.

The fees payable will be checked upon the forms submission. Any shortfall will be advised to you so that an additional payment can be made before the service is provided. Any additional sums paid, above the charges due, will be refunded after the service has been provided.

An extension certificate is valid for 30 days. We can only extend a current unexpired certificate. A visit is still required and out of hours service must be requested if applicable.

Please note that out of hours fees are charged in addition to the inspection fee and/or ship extension fee.
