Update from Freedom Leisure on the George Campbell swimming pool in March

The works to improve the swimming pool at George Campbell are continuing at pace and we are working with Fenland District Council and their contractors to ensure the pool can re-open as quickly as possible but there is a significant amount of work still to be done so we thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Following the latest update from the team working on the pool, it is our intention to have the pool operational again on, or around, Tuesday 25th February 2025. This gives us time to fill the pool, run the filtration system and raise the water temperature to normal conditions ready for your use.

Please remember that our gym and exercise classes at George Campbell are still available for you to enjoy. Also, we would like to remind you that our swimming pools at Manor Leisure Centre in Whittlesey and Hudson Leisure Centre in Wisbech are open and available to use.

Again, please accept our sincere apologies and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding at this difficult time. We look forward to welcoming you back to swim at George Campbell soon.
