Nominations open for Whittlesey Town Council by-elections
Candidates are being sought to fill two vacancies at Whittlesey Town Council, ahead of by-elections on Thursday 2 May 2024.
Due to the resignation of Cllr Simon Black and Cllr Luke Turner, there are two vacancies on Whittlesey Town Council in the St Andrews Ward and North West Ward.
If contested, by-elections to fill the vacancies will take place on the same day as the poll to elect the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire.
The nomination period began on Wednesday 27 March and will close at 4pm on Friday 5 April 2024.
Any person wishing to stand as a candidate can download a Nomination Pack from our website or request one from the Elections Team via elections@fenland.gov.uk
Nomination papers must be submitted by hand to the Returning Office at Fenland District Council and must be received by 4pm on Friday 5 April.
