Requests for Disclosure of Information under the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018)

Permissible reasons under the DPA 2018 Legislation are for the following purposes:

• the prevention or detection of crime or apprehension or prosecution of offenders (DPA 2018 Schedule 2, Part 1, Para 2) (1), (a) & (b)) or;
• the assessment or collection of tax or duty or an imposition of a further notice (DPA 2018 Schedule 2, Part 1, Para 2) (1), (c)
