Site Alert: System Downtime 29 July

Between 17.30 and 19:30 on 29/7, our Public Access (Planning Portal) and Modern Gov (Councillor and Meeting Information) systems will be temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. We are sorry for any disruption that this may cause.

In person

This is the traditional way to vote in the United Kingdom

You can only vote if your name is on the 'Register of Electors'. You must be registered at least 12 working days before polling day.

Poll cards are delivered shortly before an election. You might not receive a poll card before a Parish Council election.

Each person who can vote in a household will get a poll card. It explains:

  • the date of the election
  • where their polling station is
  • when they can vote

You don't need to take your poll card with you to vote.
