War Memorials
We maintain war memorials in our four market towns
There are over 100 memorials in Fenland. They act as an important reminder of the sacrifices made by previous generations.
We maintain the four war memorials in Chatteris, March, Whittlesey and Wisbech.
- Chatteris War Memorial is in front of St Peters and Paul's Church, PE16 6BB
- March War Memorial is on the south of Broad Street, PE15 8TP
- Whittlesey War Memorial is on the junction of Queens Street and Market Place, PE7 1AT
- Wisbech War Memorial is in The Crescent, PE13 1AA
The war memorials in March, Whittlesey and Wisbech are Grade II listed.
War memorials in other villages are looked after by their Parish Council.
