Fenland is currently the host authority for four Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects - including the proposed Fens Reservoir, a development with the potential to bring transformational change to the district and beyond. We're seeking an experienced NSIP and Major Projects Lead to shape and coordinate the Council's involvement in these nationally important schemes and other major placemaking and infrastructure projects.
In this pivotal role, you'll lead the Council's strategic response, ensuring our priorities, policies, and community ambitions are fully represented. You'll coordinate specialist input across services, manage technical and financial resources, and provide clear, high-level advice to senior leaders and elected members.
Working as part of our One Team approach, you'll bring people together across the organisation to deliver coherent, evidence-based, and impactful responses. You'll build strong partnerships with developers, government agencies, and local communities to secure the best possible outcomes - from environmental mitigation to meaningful community benefits.
We're looking for someone with a strong track record in major infrastructure or complex planning projects, exceptional stakeholder and project management skills, and the confidence to influence at the highest level.
