Whittlesea Railway Station Survey

Share your views and experiences of using the station to help develop the business case for future regeneration plans

Fenland District Council is inviting residents, businesses, and rail users to share their views and experiences of Whittlesea Railway Station as part of ongoing plans to regenerate the station.

Whittlesea is one of three Fenland stations included in a rail regeneration programme, which is being delivered through the Council's Railway Station Masterplans project.

The programme is supported by funding from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, with £3million earmarked for improvements at Whittlesea between 2024 and 2027.

Your feedback will help us to develop the business case needed to access this funding. We want to understand how people currently use the station, what challenges they face, and what improvements would make the biggest difference.

This is the first stage of engagement. There will be further public consultation in 2026 to seek your views on the design proposals before any work begins.
