Changing Places toilets improve accessibility in Fenland
People with additional access needs and ability challenges now have more well-equipped toilets in Fenland.
More 'Changing Places' toilets, suitable for people who need extra equipment and space to allow them to use the toilets safely and comfortably, are in place in March and Wisbech.
Recently installed facilities are available to all in the George Campbell Leisure Centre, City Road, March, and Wisbech Park Pavilion, Lynn Road, Wisbech, during opening hours.

The installations have been made possible thanks to UK Government funding awarded to Fenland District Council, and support from Muscular Dystrophy UK.
Changing Places toilets are larger accessible toilets for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities or with physical disabilities such as spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis.
Cllr Alex Miscandlon, Fenland District Council's Cabinet Member for Leisure, said: "This is another step in the right direction in the bid to make more places accessible to people of all ability levels.
"We know a lot more work is needed, but are pleased to have been able to play a part in providing these additional facilities."

The March Changing Places toilet was initially proposed to be included in the new town centre toilet block being created as part of the ongoing March town centre regeneration project. Plans changed to ensure the money available for the facilities could be invested in March before the Government spending deadline.
The new permanent toilet block in March town centre is still in the planning and will include able-bodied and disabled facilities.
