Fenland Rail Development Strategy
Following public consultation, our railway strategy was adopted in 2012
The strategy will be delivered through the Fenland Strategy Partnership Transport and Access Group. This is formed of organisations including Fenland District Council, Cambridgeshire County Council, Fenland Association for Community Transport (FACT) and the NHS Cambridgeshire and Care Network.
The strategy has three overarching themes:
- More community involvement to enable local people to have greater involvement in their local railway
- Better stations
- Service improvements
